Night lights in Stockholm

I was visiting our capital for a conference in late summer or perhaps early autumn. Since we were busy all day I wasn't able to go out for a photowalk until quite late. At first I was a bit disappointed, but then I saw the reflections in the water...

Colorful end of a good day

It was the end of a long (but fun) day in the capital. We had been on a photo walk all day and was quite tired, but when this sky turned up we couldn't stop. It was quite a colorful end of a good day.

Valletta under the clouds

I've only been to Malta once, but I sure want to go there again. We had quite changing weather during our short visit and this was one of the nicer days. A warm spring sun, a few clouds and a lovely color in the sky presenting Valletta at its best.

Evening bokeh

I'm not sure why, but I kinda like these bokeh shots. Especially if there is some water to reflect the light in. Maybe it's because it leaves something to your imagination. I don't know... This one is captured in the Swedish capital.

New York Cabs

It was our second day in New York City. It was many years before I bought my first pedometer, but I must have reached some kind of record that day. At least a personal best. We walked, walked and then walked some more. No wonder I found the sight of all those cabs so appealing...

Ponte Vecchio, Florence

I've only been to Florence once, but want to go there again some day. It's a very photogenic town with lots of photo opportunities. This is a photo of Ponte Vecchio, the famous medieval stone bridge.

We were starting to reach the end of a day of photowalking in the capital. It had been a hot summer day with lots of photos. When walking home in the warm summer evening, we came upon this colorful view.

Snapshot of city life

I was on my way to grab something to eat and took this quick photo just before crossing the street. The picture caught the feeling I had there and then. Tired after a long day. A little stressed. On the move. Waiting at a busy intersection.

Neighbors by the water

It's a bit strange really, that I've only visited Tuscany and Florence once. It's a very tourist crowded city, which might be one of the reasons. But it is also a quite enjoyable city. I think I need to plan for a visit soon again.

Sunset in the city

When I'm on a business trip I often bring my camera and try to get some time exploring the city. This was such a trip and I'm glad I had my Sony with me. It was a nice walk along the water in the Swedish capital.

Ghosts in the city

It's true, then. There are ghosts. They are quite hard to spot and they are only visible at twilight. Some of them linger in the streets after sunset trying to give people passing by a scare...

Morning on the balcony

A lifetime ago I was in Sliema, Malta. I remember it was cold as heck in the room at the hotel. It was probably as cold on the balcony, but try to stop me stepping out to take some photos of the morning sun.

Colorize the world

What would life be without some colors? We need to colorize the world to be vibrant like this red phone booth.

Closed for the day

There is almost always something interesting to be found on the side streets when you get off the main road. This is a quick photo from Kissamos. It seems they have closed for the day.

The house on the corner

I'm not sure why, but this house caught my eye as I walked around on the streets of Kissamos in the early evening warmth. Maybe it was the blue sky above, the white stairs down to the street or the trees in the garden. Maybe it was all of those things...

Moved out

Kissamos is one of my favorite travel destinations. It's not too big so you can get lost. But still big enough to have some interesting side streets and buildings. This one isn't in very good shape I guess, but I still find it quite interesting.

This used to be the view I had early mornings at the office. That was before we moved to other premises. Nowadays I just see a brick wall when I look through my window...

Morning in Sliema

A few years ago we went on an extended weekend trip to Malta. Back home in Sweden it was still rather cold, but in Malta spring was already on its way. We were lucky to have a quite nice view from our balcony, so I could enjoy the colorful morning sky.
